The Lord’s Pantry of Downingtown
St. James is committed to serving our Downingtown community. More than 50 years ago, The Lord’s Pantry of Downingtown was founded by and originally housed in St. James, assisting our neighbors in need. In addition to our parishioners donating non-perishable food items, participating in Thanksgiving meal assembly and Christmas gift drives, we take up a monthly collection on the first Sunday of each month.
Adopt-A-Highway
Several times a year, St. James members come together to clean up trash along a 2 mile stretch of Route 30 as part of PennDot’s Adopt-A-Highway roadside beautification program.
