A heartfelt “Thank You” to all of the day’s many participants!

The first-ever “Ashes To Go” offered at the parish afforded 20 Christians the Imposition of Ashes. 30 Christians total were imposed at St. James’-Downingtown for the beginning of the Season of Lent, including those who attended the noontime, live-streamed Eucharistic service.

Ash Wednesday is February 17th

Live-streamed worship service at 12:00 noon. Limited in-person seating is available and must be reserved here on SignUp Genius. Can’t join us live or in person? Live streaming of the service will be available at noon on Facebook’s St. James’ Episcopal Church, Downingtown and at any time.

Ashes will be offered on our church property in the rear parking lot at 2 different times:

7:00am – 10:00am; and 3:00pm – 6:00pm

Pandemic safety protocols will be strictly adhered to for the imposition of ashes, therefore, be sure to bring and wear your mask.
